SUMMARY
The Director of Informa.on Technology will work as a key member of the team in a family-oriented
prin.ng company. This posi.on requires the individual to work on-site in Tinton Falls, NJ. This individual
will be responsible for ensuring all IT opera.ons are streamlined and aligned with the business
objec.ves of the organiza.on. The Director of Informa.on Technology will ensure infrastructure up.me
meets business and customer SLAs, will plan, coordinate, direct and design IT- related projects. The
Director of Informa.on Technology will work closely with decision makers in other departments to
iden.fy, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effec.ve technology solu.ons for all aspects
of the organiza.on. The Director of Informa.on Technology will also define and implement IT policies,
procedures, and best prac.ces.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide overall IT governance.
• Plan, implement and monitor changes in infrastructure configura.ons.
• Manage the helpdesk, making sure requests are resolved and closed out.
• Responsible for formula.ng corporate IT strategy and long-term IT planning.
• Oversee provisioning of licensing and end user services.
• Develops and manages an annual opera.ng budget to be approved by senior management.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive data backup, retrieval, and archiving strategy.
• Preserves assets by maintaining disaster recovery infrastructure and procedures.
• Maintain and update standard opera.ng procedures (SOP's) as required.
• Coordina.on of the records of network design, inventory, and status.
• Coordinates and conducts IT-related training ac.vi.es for staff and clients.
• Administra.on of corporate server pool including Directory, E-mail, FTP and data servers.
• Assist in troubleshoo.ng, repair and/or upgrade desktop computer hardware.
• Responsible for managing equipment movement and setup.
• Troubleshoot, repair and/or upgrade server computer hardware.
• Troubleshoot, repair and/or upgrade network infrastructure hardware.
• Nego.a.ng and monitoring service agreements with vendors.
• Work with outside vendors for major repairs.
• Manage IT related database and so]ware development projects.
• Stay abreast of current technology and industry trends.
• Conducts research and development by keeping current with the latest technologies and key
outcomes.
• Review and advise on contracts rela.ng to data protec.on.
• Maintain SOC2 Type II cer.fica.on.
• Implements and monitors adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and standards.
• Develop and maintain Security Policies.
• Present ideas to keep Ha5eras ahead of the curve technologically.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Experience with IT in a Manufacturing Environment.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, VMware, SQL & Veeam.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Informa.on Systems Management, Engineering, or
relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in desktop support, server support, systems, or network
engineering.
• 10 years of related work experience in management of informa.on systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of telecommunications, network, and PC opera.ng systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.
• Experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive applica.on support experience.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development.
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy prac.ces and laws
• Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as required.
